To let you know - John John (JJ) took Western Canadian Championship on 85 Yamaha with Somender's 5 groove set-up. Shaving head 10 thou out-performed 3 groove. Jet sizing way down - performance way up. 4 stroke Honda was hole shotting 90% of every race. Thank you very much for helping us out. Happy New Year & best wishes to you and yours. kp / whitecourt

Nobsta's Lawnmower

Ok, I tested it out on a spare push mower, and it seems to be running cooler and it seems to start easier. I have no means of testing the fuel consumption (as it is a lawnmower), but overall I have noticed better performance.

Fuel consumption testing

as you have already done the mod this procedure is not applicable but for those that want to test in the future

before mod:
empty tank and insure all fuel is consumed add one cup of fuel
run mower until all fuel is consumed
every five record temp of exhaust and outside temp
time the test.

after mod:
same procedure as before

result:
cups per hour with five min intervals of temps
