What is the min and max fuel savings? PDF Print E-mail
Without more specific testing, we do not have exact numbers. According to all of our testing, the reductions are "significant".

The other improvements are many; clean burning plugs, increased torque and horsepower. Cooler running engines, cleaner oil, and the list goes on. Engines with this modification are less prone to detonation. This may sound too good to be true.

It is difficult to believe, but.. when a modified engine is started for the first time the change is obvious.Write Comment (0 Comments)

What do the grooves do? PDF Print E-mail
Here is a post that answers the question well:

"Without grooves, the combustion is incomplete and unburned fuel remains in the cylinder. This unburned fuel is still expanding during the exhaust stroke; with the engine idling at the end of the exhaust stroke the expanding unburned gases flow past the intake valve into the intake manifold causing poor idle.

With the grooved cylinder heads combustion is more complete leaving little unburned fuel behind, more of the fuel is used to generate power and less is used to generate heat. (That’s also why the engines run cooler).  With the modified heads little or no unburned fuel remains during the exhaust stroke. With less unburned fuel to expand during the overlap period the gasses flowing past the intake valve are reduced resulting in improved idle quality."

How do I cut a Groove? PDF Print E-mail
Many people want to know how they can cut their own groove. Here are a few steps to the process.
Somender Singh and Garuda R&D are not responsible for what you do with this knowledge, unless it improves your engine life and provides more power and efficiency.

I tried your grooves and got... PDF Print E-mail
So far quite a few people have come to this site, read the instructions and other feedback and then either performed, or had a machinist/mechanic perform the Groove modification to their engine.

As yet, not a single negative comment has been provided.

Each person had nothing but positive things to say about their fuel usage, smoothness, power and accelleration as a result of using the Grooves described by Somender Singh's US Patent and described on this site.

So why hasn't this become mainstream? We are confused about this also. Dyno testing has been requested by some, but as yet no one has come forward to pay for this testing. Until then, we must continue to perform real world testing.

Dyno's will not show you much about day to day engine performance. A full-out dyno run will tell you many things in great detail, but the relevance to stop and go, up and downhill performance over the long term is negligible.

Trust the people's results.
