To let you know - John John (JJ) took Western Canadian Championship on 85 Yamaha with Somender's 5 groove set-up. Shaving head 10 thou out-performed 3 groove. Jet sizing way down - performance way up. 4 stroke Honda was hole shotting 90% of every race. Thank you very much for helping us out. Happy New Year & best wishes to you and yours. kp / whitecourt

Yes I grooved a 22re head. sorry no pics though Mr. Singh said he would show me if I could not figure it out send him a pic of your head. I did get good results though. Just point the groove at the plug from between the valves. Do yourself a favor and raise the compression. I did not further shave my head and I wish I had just to get all the bang for my buck maybe a little more power. I was only getting 19 mpg combined in my 82 4x4 pu I have gotten as high as 26.8 mpg on the highway since got 19 towing a u-haul trailer up from SLC.
I have an idea for the gooves of using a fine chainsaw file make it round easily

good luck it will run nice oh yeah you can really advance the timing now too.
