Somender,

To let you know - John John (JJ) took Western Canadian Championship on 85 Yamaha with Somender's 5 groove set-up.  Shaving head 10 thou out-performed 3 groove.  Jet sizing way down - performance way up.  4 stroke Honda was hole shotting 90% of every race.    Thank you very much for helping us out.  Happy New Year & best wishes to you and yours.  kp / whitecourt

Turbo and grooves

Hi

I am a newbie at this forum but has read a lot about the grooves.

I have a question:

Quite often when you turbo charge a car you lower the compression.

Could you in theory avoid this by making the grooves instead and leave the high compression.

Its on a SAAB 99 - I have blown my turbo engine an would like to try and change a normal aspirated engine to a turbo charge one with the least amount af effort

thx in advance

Johnny from Denmark
